HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT(HSE) POLICY

Skilt Fabricators PVT. LTD. is committed to protect the health and safety of everyone involved in its operations, and the sustainability of the environment in which it operates. We shall strive for continual improvement and the adoption of International codes and standards where practicable.

Employees and contractors

All employees, including contractors working in our facilities, share personal responsibility to create and maintain a safe work environment. Everyone has a significant role in both personal safety and that of their co-workers. The Skilt Safety Policy is part of doing business right. It guides us in our progress toward eliminating injuries and illnesses in our workplace.

Skilt’s Safety Principles call on every person to be responsible for safety

Skilt’s safety principles underline the importance of protecting our employees’ well-being:
- Safety is fundamental to everything we do.
- We are committed to removing conditions that cause personal injury or occupational illness.
- All injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable, and a workplace with zero incidents is achievable.
- We make decisions and promote behaviours that protect us and others from risk of injury.
- We use formal problem solving to reduce risk and continuously improve our safety performance.

Our Safety Principles require each individual to be responsible and accountable for recognizing and correcting at-risk behaviour or unsafe conditions. This includes abiding by the following core Safety Expectations. We consider these expectations to be absolutes, because a violation could result in serious injury or even death. We will implement systems in our operations to strive to:

- Ensure all our operations comply with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and laws.
- Identify all hazards, and assess the risks and implement appropriate controls to protect all personnel involved in our    activities and to prevent environmental pollution.
- Set objectives and targets for improving health, safety and environmental performance, report openly on its    performance.
- We make decisions and promote behaviours that protect us and others from risk of injury.
- We use formal problem solving to reduce risk and continuously improve our safety performance.
- Ensure that contractors, service providers and consultants are aware of Skilt’s policies and standards and work with    them to raise their standards to meet our requirement.
- Foster a culture where accidents, incidents and near misses are reported promptly and investigated and the lessons    learned are shared throughout the organisation.
- Ensure that high priority is place on emergency preparedness.
- Integrate HSE into business planning and provide adequate resources.
